Hello Stock Investors. Please note that I add Brandon and Tyler to this conversation. Feel free to respond separately if you have individual questions, otherwise, if it benefits the group then we can have a group conversation. This just makes it easier for me to let you know what I am doing, and advise you of my thoughts and opinions on the market and in particular, the companies I invest or divest in. As you know, in the past I have held Nvidia and ANET. on a day in which they are both down significantly, I am reiterating prior posts that I have exited both of those positions quite sometime ago and the last small bit of ANET just 2 weeks ago for tax purposes. I did this because growth was slowing in their revenues and customers and at such high valuation for the companies, that could only lead to a de-valuation of the company with a stock price decrease as investors revalued the companies for slower growth. This is the reason I like to read or listen to the quarterly earnings report and keep my own analysis on their growth figures. While I cannot time the tops or bottoms of any stock, it helps me to get close and sell them before further damage. Both of these stocks yielded incredible returns for me over the past 18 months And may do very well in the future, but it was time to get out. Tough day for the market today overall, but I feel my technology stocks are holding up relatively well in spite of it all. They are also up this year to date in the month of January as a whole more than any January in a few decades, no doubt owing to the correction that occurred in November and December. I will continue to try to invest in great companies regardless of the valuation and try to let them appreciate over the long-term. I don’t invest in any stock I don’t intend to hold for several years or that I don’t expect to give me extraordinary returns based on hypergrowth and moats around their new technology. That means the portfolio could be volatile at times, but over time with continued growth, the market will have to eventually adjust the price to the appropriate valuation of the company. As always, let me know if you would like to be removed from this text stream. Happy investing.
